Over the course of a three week international intensive, two elementary schools, “both alike in dignity,” but varied in country, language, and culture, will join forces to create an original theatrical performance and art gallery showcase to be shared on a local and global stage.
Creative Collaborazione’s methodology provides students (ages 8-12) the innovative opportunity for cross-cultural collaboration and positive self-expression fueled by the imaginative processes of writing, designing, performing, and producing live theater and visual art.

Stefanie served as Assistant Director to the legendary Julie Andrews on the development of a new musical. She assisted Broadway directors Walter Bobbie, Scott Schwartz, Michael Arden, David Saint, and worked with Deaf West Theatre, The Public Theater, and Palm Beach Dramaworks. As an educator and researcher, she specializes in arts inclusivity and accessibility practices. She’s a Fulbright Research Grant in Deafness Recipient (Italy), Manhattan Theater Club Directing Fellow, and Harvard Innovation Ventures in Education Pitch Finalist. She joined Bay Street Theater in New York as the Associate General Manager and was the Program Associate for East End Special Players- which serves Adults with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities. Alexa is a Visual Arts Teacher at the Ellis Mendell Elementary school, a Title I Inclusion school in Boston Public Schools, teaching students in Preschool through sixth grade. Her commitment to equitable, accessible art instruction is also seen through her work as the Arts and Crafts Director at Double H Ranch, a camp for children with chronic and life-threatening illnesses, where she made art accessible for all. As a research assistant for Project Zero’s “Arts as Civic Commons Project,” which explored how learners can investigate civic topics and develop civic agency through looking at and making art, she engaged in important topics and conversations with art at the center.
